• Cost: Free event
• When: Starting at 1:00pm, will conclude @ 6pm after completing a 2-mile hike
• Where: Rendezvous Adventure Outfitters, 12111 E 21st St N, Wichita KS 67206
• What is Offered: Backpacking Merit Badge will be offered in a partial format. Scouts will need to conduct treks on their own (or with their Unit) to complete the merit badge.
• Special Information:
• Scouts will need to bring their own chair, and drinks for the class.
• Scouts will need a backpack, packed as if they are ready to go on a backpacking trip.
• Scouts need to dress for the weather and be prepared for a 2-mile hike after the classroom portion.
• Scouts will need a blue-card or be willing to stay after to be put into Scout Book
• Requirements not covered in the class: 6b, 6c, 10, 11a, 11b, 11c
